Who We Are

Selene Sea View Apartment is a new, comfortable and modern apartment, which is located at the central square and the main coastal road of Naxos Town with an unlimited view of the sea and the port of the island. The apartment has a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a king size bed and the second a bunk bed with one queen size and one single bed. The balcony of the apartment has seats so you can enjoy the magnificent view and the enchanting sunset accompanied with your refreshing drink.

Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades islands, an island complex which is located in the southern part of the Aegean Sea. Capital of the island is Naxos Town (or Chora), that is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the Cyclades. It stands out for its traditional architecture with Venetian and Cycladic characteristics. Trademark of the island is the temple of Apollo next to the port, the famous Portara, which dates back to the 6th century BC. Portara is part of our balcony’s view and is located only 3 minutes walk from the apartment following the small road that leads to the Palatia islet. If you follow the picturesque alleys behind the apartment you will wander through the old Town while nearby are the Castle, the Venetian Museum, the former Ursuline school, the Catholic Cathedral and the Archaeological Museum.

The central location of the apartment allows you to have direct access on foot to restaurants, taverns, cafes, bars, bakeries, pharmacies, markets and shops, while there is also a municipal parking area nearby.

If you don’t want to move away from Naxos Town, you can enjoy your swim at the beach of Agios Georgios. The beach is one kilometer long, it is perfectly organized, there is access for people with special needs, it has sunbeds and umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants, facilities for water and beach sports as well as a windsurfing learning center. The clear blue shallow waters and the golden sandy beach makes it an ideal choice for families. The beach of Agios Georgios is one of the beaches of Naxos that are awarded the Blue Flag every year.

If you want to explore the island and visit its numerous sights and the beautiful beaches there are several car rentals near the apartment to find a suitable car for you. Also, close to the port there is a bus station, where you can choose a local bus to move around the island as well as a TAXI station. Naxos is also famous for the food and the local products that are made here, such as different varieties of cheese, meat, potatoes, wine, raki and kitron, a local drink made out of citrus fruit. You will find excellent options for local tastes both in Naxos Town and the villages that characterize the island and remain unforgettable to every visitor.

Our apartment is a typical example of the famous Greek hospitality and therefore upon your arrival we will give our recommendations for food, entertainment, activities and sightseeing to visit so you can have a real local experience on our island.
